Catching Korean saves your game, learning progress, and preferences in this browser. Pronunciation Studio asks for microphone permission only when you choose to record, and the current app does not upload or permanently save your raw recording.
This beta does not include advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs. Some phrase audio currently comes from Wikimedia Commons, so playing those phrases can contact Wikimedia's servers. Ordinary hosting/security logs may also be processed by the website host.
Catching Korean is designed to collect as little learner information as practical. The current web beta has no Catching Korean account system, no cloud save, no advertising SDK, and no first-party behavioral analytics.
The app can store adventure progress, XP, discovered words, Hangul practice, vocabulary and review history, story/lesson progress, locally calculated learning recommendations, speaking-practice counts, audio settings, and this privacy-notice acknowledgment.
The hosting provider or web server may process ordinary technical request/security logs, such as IP address, request time, requested resource, browser/user-agent information, and error/security events. Exact production logging and retention must be verified before commercial release.
Three prototype Korean phrase recordings currently load from Wikimedia Commons when played. That playback can create a direct request to Wikimedia. We plan to bundle reviewed/licensed phrase audio locally before commercial release.
Klaus Coach and adaptive review use learning history on this device to recommend practice, repeat weak material, or provide stronger hints. They are learning aids, not assessments of intelligence, personality, health, or eligibility for important decisions.
Catching Korean is an educational game and development beta. It is provided for learning, testing, and entertainment. Features, curriculum, availability, and saved local progress may change while the product is in development.
The app is intended to help people practice Korean, but it does not guarantee fluency, exam results, or any specific educational outcome. Prototype pronunciation helpers and audio still require professional Korean review before a commercial release.
Do not use the service to attack, disrupt, probe, overload, or unlawfully access the website, hosting environment, or other users' systems. Do not misrepresent Catching Korean content or branding as your own official product.
The current beta stores progress in the browser. Clearing browser/site data, changing devices, private browsing, browser cleanup, or technical failures can erase that local progress. Cloud recovery is not currently provided.
Catching Korean branding, original art, game systems, written content, and original audio are intended project assets. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licenses and attribution requirements.
Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, account terms, governing law, dispute terms, and final liability language are not yet active in this beta and must be completed before commercial release.
Catching Korean does not ask for microphone access at startup. Your browser is asked only after you intentionally start a recording in Pronunciation Studio. Browser/OS settings may separately remember whether permission was allowed or denied.
The controls below affect only Catching Korean data stored by this browser. They cannot erase routine server/hosting logs or browser permission history.
Catching Korean can naturally appeal to learners of different ages. The current beta intentionally avoids account profiles, targeted advertising, public chat, user-generated content, and unnecessary personal-data collection.
Before commercial launch, the project will make a deliberate audience/age-positioning decision and complete any required child-privacy and parental-consent work for the markets where it is offered. The app should not casually collect a birth date merely to appear compliant.
Our product target is WCAG 2.2 AA where practical for the web experience. Catching Korean should remain usable across keyboard, mouse, touch, phone/tablet portrait and landscape, and common desktop browsers.
If an accessibility issue prevents you from using a feature, it should be treated as a product bug, not as user error.
The current beta does not have a Catching Korean account, cloud profile, or server-side learner record for you to access, correct, or delete through an account request. Your game/learning data in this beta is primarily browser-local and can be removed from the Data & Mic section.
For local learning data, use Reset learning progress or Clear all Catching Korean local data. Browser microphone permission history is controlled through your browser or device settings.
The final Privacy Policy will publish the real operator identity and a working privacy/support contact method. If future accounts or cloud data are added, Catching Korean will add an appropriate verified request process for access, correction, deletion, and other applicable privacy rights.
